WOOFABOUT Recommends

Archie and Nacho work tirelessly to find you the best of the best.

It's a hard job, but someone has to do it!

Black Horse

This is one of the pubs that is so close to my house the humans have real trouble getting me to walk past without trying to go in!
It has a great outside area that is mostly covered and inside is spacious so enough room for my big doggie friends. In winter they have a lovely warm fire and in summer, inside has air conditioning to keep us pups cool...

Duke of Cambridge - Battersea

One of our most favourite places to explore is Battersea Park. We usually work up quite an appetite having fun in the park so it's lucky we only have to cross the road to get to The Duke of Cambridge.

The pub has a few tables outside and is really spacious inside. The staff here adore dogs and welcomed us with water and treats. They even have a Sunday Roast for doggies, which begs one question- why the hell did we go on a Saturday?...

The Victoria Sheen

We returned this week to our favourite gastro pub in Sheen, tucked away in Temple Sheen the Victoria is a gastro pub with rooms and a pretty sheltered garden. They are dog friendly in the bar area and garden with a super menu by Paul Merrett. Dog water bowls available and often treats on the bar for hungry pups! Walkies afterwards on Sheen Common or Richmond Park

Linnaean

This very pretty and super dog friendly place is in a new development called Embassy Gardens. There is not much else there yet but it is worth going for this place alone. I went with my friend Tika in December so they were all decorated for Christmas but it is a restaurant that will be pretty all year round - very Instagrammable! The staff are dog crazy and all came to say hello to us - they even came from the beauty spa just to see us. Yes, you heard right, Linnaean isn't just a restaurant they also have a hair and beauty salon...

The Wellington

Tucked away down a little side street off North End Road you will find the newly re-opened Wellington pub.

This hidden gem has been around since 1864 and is now an independently owned neighbourhood pub serving decent grub and an impressive range of gins and craft beers...

Knoops

Our humans love chocolate so much they even like to drink it! We find this weird but if they're happy then we are happy so we were more than glad to accompany them to Knoops cafe

The Brown Cow

The Brown Cow is a very dog friendly pub. There is always a well stocked jar of treats for us and they are happy for us to sit anywhere. It is a small pub but plenty of space for dogs of all sizes. There are a few tables outside on the pavement but it is on a very busy road. The humans said the food was excellent and I can confirm that their homemade sausage rolls are excellent!!

The Shaftesbury

The Shaftesbury is a great pub in Richmond which has plenty of space for dogs of all sizes and a great garden at the rear.
