Enjoy the long weekend with your pooch

This weekend we have 2 extra days to spend with our dogs. Here's a few of our favourite things to do with your pooch this weekend.

Enjoy a long, lazy lunch - we have hundreds of dog friendly cafes, pubs and restaurants featured on the website. Find your new favourite this weekend (hopefully somewhere your dog gets a sausage).

Take a leisurely stroll through one of London's Royal Parks - take your time to this weekend to truly appreciate the beauty of our parks. The blossom is starting to appear so we look forward to seeing some fabulous pics.
Go on an Easter hunt at a farm - Green Barn Farm in Essex is holding it's annual Easter at the Farm until April 10th. You can read our review here.
Book a family photo self-portrait session - read our full review of YOU self-portrait studio where dogs are part of the family too.

Tiptoe through the tulips with your dog - Tulleys Tulip Fest in Sussex and Tulleys Tulips Fields in Hertfordshire are a fantastic experience to have with your dog. Plus you will get enough cute photos to fill up your grin for months! Read our review here.

Luxuriate in a London hotel - London has so many amazing hotels that welcome pooches. Check out the website for the dozens we have reviewed and treat yourself this weekend.

Take a trip to the beach - there are some great beaches within easy reach of London and most are dog friendly during April (restrictions usually start 1st May)
Our favourites are West Wittering, Camber Sands, Folkestone, Mersea Island, Seaford and Bexhill-on-Sea
Take a boat trip - Dogs are welcome aboard all GoBoat trips so you can mooch along the Thames or meander through Regent's Canal. Read our review of this great day out.

EASTER FUN

This is a very straightforward and useful guide. I like how everything is explained without unnecessary complexity. The steps are easy to follow, and the tips are helpful. It doesn’t feel confusing at any point. I also appreciate the effort put into making it beginner-friendly. It feels like practical advice that can actually be used. Overall, a well-written article that provides real value and helps users understand the process clearly.

Such a sweet and wholesome post, it really captures that relaxed and joyful Easter vibe. I like how it’s not overly complicated, just simple moments, a bit of celebration, and that sense of togetherness which is what the day is really about, and honestly it’s refreshing to read something like this. Stuff like this reminds you that it doesn’t always have to be big plans or fancy setups, sometimes just enjoying the day with good company and a bit of fun is more than enough, it even brings back that nostalgic feeling of how simple celebrations used to be. Also loved the overall tone, it feels very genuine and not forced at all, which makes it more enjoyable to read…
Such a lovely and positive post — it really captures that joyful Easter vibe, especially for dog lovers. It’s always nice to see how people include their pets in seasonal celebrations, whether it’s going for spring walks, spending more time outdoors, or even treating them to something special.
Easter can actually be a great time for dogs too, as long as everything is pet-safe. For example, instead of chocolate (which is toxic for dogs), there are special dog-friendly treats and fun activities like little “egg hunts” using safe snacks, which can be both entertaining and mentally stimulating.
Posts like this are a good reminder that simple moments — fresh air, time together, and a bit of fun — are what…
