Luna Domes - Luxury Glamping

Baxter's Glamping Getaway at Luna Domes, Kent

Baxter and I recently escaped the daily grind for a little glamping break at Luna Domes in Kent, and it turned out to be exactly what we both needed.

A beagle sits on a wooden floor in a cozy room with a bed, fur blankets, and a wood stove. The setting is warm and inviting.

We stayed in the Hever dome, tucked away on the grounds of Hoath House, and it was everything I had hoped for and more. There was a log burner that kept us warm during the cooler evenings and a huge, inviting bed that was incredibly comfortable.

Since dogs aren’t allowed on it, Baxter was perfectly happy settling into his own comfy bed nearby. Large windows filled the space with natural light and views of the peaceful surroundings. Outside, a terrace with lounge chairs and a BBQ made it easy to relax and enjoy the fresh air. There was no TV, no endless to-do list, and no early alarms — just a simple rhythm of walk, snack, nap, repeat.

One of the loveliest surprises was a doggy goodie box from Doghouse Woofs waiting for us when we arrived. Inside were chicken and duck treats, a tennis ball, a chicken dinner sample that instantly caught Baxter’s attention, and even poo bags to make my life easier. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped through the door.

We spent the rest of the week enjoying a slower pace, breathing in the fresh air and calm surroundings, and taking time to simply enjoy each other’s company. It was just me and Baxter, soaking up the peaceful moments and enjoying the simple pleasure of being away together. It left us both feeling rested, recharged, and already thinking about the next time we can return.
