  • Dogs Love Brunch Because................

....the time between breakfast and lunch is too long! Who can relate? There's no way we should be expected to go for more than 4 hours without a little snackie to stop those tummy grumbles. That's why brunch was invented surely. Two Legged Foodies love to find fabulous places where they can fill their faces on a lazy weekend morning and here 6 of our favourites where we can join them. We joined the humans for Bottomless Aperol Brunch (just water for us though) at The Clapham North. This spacious pub with some outside seating is perfect for Four Legged Foodies because they have a Dog Menu with 2 dishes to choose from plus dog treats, dog beer and comfy beds. So while the humans sit back and listen to the live music with dishes like Pulled Pork Benedict and Chicken and Avocado Waffles, all we have to do is decide whether to have the Sunday Ruff Roast or It's A Dogs Dinner (both is always an option because you can always walk it off on nearby Clapham Common). Where: 409 Clapham Rd, London SW9 9BT Follow: @ theclaphamnorth Don't you just love a local café with friendly staff and super tasty food? Sorry Foodies of Earlsfield but we are not letting you keep Manny Dartin a secret any longer! You don't have to wait for the weekend as brunch is served every day with dishes such as cauliflower fritters and salt beef brisket. The staff love doggies and are happy to whip us up a puppacino and stick some extra bacon on the table just for us. The café is air conditioned and has a great little enclosed courtyard garden at the rear. Where: 366 Garratt Ln, London SW18 4ES Follow: @mannydartincafe If your humans are like ours and have something called a sweet tooth, they will love what's on offer at Chestnut Bakery . Both their Covent Garden and Belgravia locations welcome four legged foodies and on National Dog Day (August 26th) they have special treats for us too! Two legged foodies who prefer savoury can enjoy their delicious flatbreads made in the clay oven. Where: 24 Floral St, London WC2E 9DS and 17-21 Elizabeth St, London SW1W 9RP Follow: @chestnut.bakery With everything from Full English Breakfast to Huevos Rancheros to Fluffy Pancakes, there's a brunch dish to suit all at Archie's in Highgate. All four legged foodies are very welcome, with treats on offer from the friendly staff and you might get to meet resident dog Doogie the Scottie! Where: 36 Highgate Hill, London N19 5NL Follow: @archiesldn Linnaean in Embassy Gardens is one of those places the humans call very Instagrammable so when you put us in there too, there's a real danger of blowing up the 'gram! Two legged foodies can enjoy a range of innovative plant based dishes for brunch including acai bowl and French toast and the good news is, it's served all day so perfect if you don't like to get up early at weekends. Four legged foodies get a stylish bed to lounge on and treats from Pooch and Mutt. Just be warned, you will be requested to pose for a LOT of photos while you're there. We can also keep the humans company while they get their hair, nails and face done in the beauty salon (don't worry, they don't do dogs). Where: Embassy Gardens, 2 New Union Square, Nine Elms, London SW11 7AX Follow: @linnaeanliving Ollie's House is a bright, spacious restaurant on Fulham Road serving brunch all day, every day! Four legged foodies even get their own brunch menu with biltong, biscuits, puppucino and even wine. We also get a comfy bed from which to enjoy it. Two legged foodies can enjoy healthy options such as poke bowls, Nasi Goreng and a large selection of brunch dishes. There is also a bakery and deli where you can get food to go. The restaurant has a real Mediterranean feel and one side of the building opens up in nice weather. • Paws for a while in South London

Head south of the river for these fabulous dog friendly restaurants. We are prepared to travel anywhere in London if we hear about a great dog friendly place but we hear some humans are scared to cross the Thames! Maybe they think they have to swim...who knows? We live south of the river and can confirm to our friends in the North that there is nothing to be scared of. In fact, quite the opposite. There is an abundance of dog friendly places here. So next time you hear someone say "nah mate we don't go south of the river" wag your tail and tell them they need to take you to SW16 Bar & Kitchen and The Exhibit . Hidden in plain sight on Streatham High Road, SW16 Bar & Kitchen is a welcome oasis from the hustle and bustle, offering fantastic food and cocktails all day, every day. Two legged foodies can choose breakfast, lunch or dinner from an Italian inspired menu. Start with Beetroot Hummus followed by Summer Tortellini with ricotta and peas or Orecciette in a rich san marzano tomato sauce. There are many options for vegetarians here. Humans can also work from here and can get a sandwich with bottomless tea or coffee for only £10 per day. Four legged foodies can stretch out next to the tables as the restaurant is very spacious and cool. The friendly staff will bring you water and lots of attention. Where: 5 Streatham High Rd, London SW16 1EF Follow: @ sw16barandkitchen The Exhibit is a vibrant restaurant and bar in Balham. Spread over two floors, the restaurant is light and spacious with plenty of covered outdoor space too! The location is great if you have a chauffeur as it is next to Sainsbury's car park where you can park free for 2 hours. Four Legged Foodies are welcome everywhere and will be greeted with fresh water and treats. The humans were also offered extra bacon so they could share with us, just make sure you get it as we know what these greedy humans are like. Two legged foodies can enjoy all day brunching and dinner or just cocktails late into the night. Our humans tried the beef brisket benedict and a blueberry tart. They were very quiet whilst eating so that means it was GOOD. If your humans are like our, they will love the weekend bottomless brunch which is only £29.50!! The Exhibit has a great private hire space which is perfect for doggie parties and they even have a dog friendly cinema! Check out our event there on September 4th. Where: 12 Balham Station Rd, London SW12 9SG Follow: @TheExhibitBar

  • Doggy Sunday Roasts

These London pubs are more than dog friendly! When it comes to London pubs, there's dog friendly and then there's The Regent and The Rosy Hue . At these Livelyhood pubs, we are treated as part of the family. There's a menu for children and a menu for us too!! The Regent in Balham is a great neighbourhood pub with a bar and spacious dining area. Pooches will be offered water and comfy beds on arrival before perusing the menu. The pub has a fabulous outdoor space too. Where you can relax with a drink. The human's roast dinner looked delicious but we didn't need to beg because we had our own. The Rosy Hue is the newest of the Livelyhood family, opening in September 2022 in the newly developed Elephant Park (Elephant & Castle). The pub is set in a large, warehouse style building with plenty of space for pooches to relax in the comfy beds. The humans opted for a veggie roast this time but we stuck to our meat diet. There are a few tables on the outdoor terrace where you can watch the local pooches on their walkies in the Elephant Park gardens. All Livelyhood pubs are super dog friendly. You can book yourself a table on Wagit .

  • Keep Track of Your Best Friend

Tractive gives you peace of mind on your four legged adventures When you're out on a walk with your humans what's the worst thing they could imagine losing? Not their keys, not their wallet, not even that phone thing they never seem to have out of their hands. All of that stuff is replaceable! It's you of course! If they lost you, their best and most loyal friend, their lives would never be the same again. That heartbreak can be avoided with a Tractive GPS Tracker . Even confirmed city dogs like us still like to go for off lead adventures and some of our parks in London are huge! Did you know that Richmond Park is 2,500 acres and has over 1200 trees? That's a lot to hide behind and a massive area to look for a little pooch in! Parks and other outdoor adventures are filled with distractions that can cause inquisitive pooches to stray from their humans. Here's just a few that have caught our attention in the past: Squirrels, deer, pigeons, discarded food, picnics, other dogs, someone throwing a ball. We are sure you have your own list and every dog owner knows how quickly we can disappear from their sight if something we love catches our eyes! The Tractive GPS Tracker connects to an app on your human's phone, so they can immediately see where you are. In addition to the live GPS update, the Tractive tracker has other great features to give your humans peace of mind. Do you go for walkies with other humans while yours are at work? With the location history, your humans can see where you have been and how active you have been while you were away from them. It can even tell your humans how well you are doing. Are you getting enough sleep? Do you need to burn off more calories? It can alert them to early signs of ill health. If you like to go for adventures overseas, the tracker works in over 175 countries and is also waterproof so you can enjoy swimming in the sea or pool! We like that wearing the Tractive GPS Tracker doesn't impede us in any way. It's super light so we don't know we are wearing it and we can play as rough as we like without fear of damaging it. It fits securely on any collar or harness and doesn't ruin our sense of style when we go to fancy restaurants. If you're an adventurous pooch like us or if you like to play tricks on your humans by hiding in leaves, tell them to get you a Tractive GPS Tracker to keep an eye on you. Because we know for sure that you would be just as sad as them if you lost each other. What you need to know: Tracker costs £44.99 Is available in white, brown, black or light blue Subscription plans start at £4 per month Tracker covers and other accessories are available

They also have a vegan kimchi option and a sweet version with coconut custard filling. The setting is street food style so dogs are welcome in Seven Dials Market but there are no facilities for us so you will need to bring water and treats. The humans say it's worth the visit and we even forgive them for naming the restaurant after a cat! Ong Ong Buns Seven Dials Market, 35 Earlham St, London WC2H 9LD Follow: @ongongbuns If a restaurant is named after the owner's dog then it gets a massive paws up from us! The dog in question is a cute little Maltese Terrier called Rika and you will often find him hanging out with his Mama at their restaurant in Notting Hill. The gorgeous restaurant serves a Japanese fusion menu with small plates, sushi and tempura. The humans tried a Bento Box with a selection of delicacies and highly recommend you do the same. We pooches can join them on the seats and we get water and treats from the staff. Apparently the disco toilet is also a must visit! We will stick with a nearby lamppost! Where to get your fill of pumpkins this October. Is that time of year again when you will spot these giant orange balls everywhere and every time the humans see them, it can mean only one thing. That camera will come out and you'll be asked to pose with them. Get the treats ready and head to these 2 spots which we think are the best places to get your pumpkin fix. Every October, London has a pumpkin trail in beautiful Belgravia. In 2023 you can visit the Belgravia Pumpkin trail from 23rd to 31st October and you will find cute and spooky displays at over 20 locations including Moyses Stevens , Chestnut Bakery and Neill Strain . Visit Belgravia London website for details of all participants in 2023. Gather up some friends, grab a willing photographer and have a fun day strolling around this beautiful neighbourhood. Make sure you pop in to see our friends at TomTom Coffee for refreshments as they love to see four legged friends! If you fancy visiting an actual pumpkin farm, then you won't find a better one than Tulleys Farm in Crawley. At Tulleys you can actually see the pumpkins growing and even buy some to take home with you and turn into those scary face lantern things we see in windows. There are lots of places to get food and drink and shops selling pumpkin related gifts. This is the place to also get some Hallowe'en pics which are even spookier if you go on one of their Pumpkin Nights! We are not that brave but our friend Skylar was last year. Good to know: Belgravia pumpkin trail is free and photography is encouraged. Tulley's farm is open until October 29th and entrance fee is £7 Pumpkin Nights are £11 The farm is around 1 hour drive from south west London (near Gatwick airport). There are regular trains to Crawley from London Bridge station.
