Clapham gets a round of applause from The Four Legged Foodies.

Famous for it's Common, the busiest rail station in Europe and the Omnibus (look it up), Clapham has something for every average man and his dog and has fantastic transport links from all over London.
Our two favourite areas of Clapham are the Old Town and Northcote Road so here's 5 of the very best dog friendly places to visit in Clapham with your pooch.
Over Under Coffee
Between the south side of the Common and Clapham High Street you will find Clapham Old Town where you will be spoilt for choice for perfect pooch friendly places.
Pop into Over Under for a coffee and cake, brunch or lunch.
It's the perfect place to catch up with a pal while the humans stuff their faces with delicious offerings like this stack of blueberry pancakes!

Common
Another great place for brunch in Old Town is Common. Not to be confused with the actual Common, this is a beautiful café serving food all day and four legged foodies are very welcome.
In the evening, the café turns into a wine bar serving small plates and ....wine (obvs)!
There is also a shop selling lots of lovely gifts and goodies where we spied some tasty looking treats to take home.

Megan's
Megan's is one of our all time favourites and Clapham is home to not one but two of these super dog friendly restaurants. You will find one in Old Town and their Terrace on Clapham Common (Summer only).
Megan's are not just dog friendly, they are dog crazy! All four legged foodies will be treated to Pooch and Mutt snacks and their own bed.
Just check out their Instagram feed to see how much they love us!
Meanwhile two legged foodies can enjoy food from sunny places that tastes even better than it looks!

The Little Orange Door
After your weekend walkies on the Common, cross over the High Street and you'll find another dog friendly Clapham gem The Little Orange Door.
The Little Door venues are designed to make you feel like you're in your own home but with a lot more food, alcohol and fun!
You can join your humans for cocktails in the evenings or for bottomless brunch at the weekends.
There's also an outside terrace.

Brew & Barrel
Over on Northcote Road, which is a short stroll from Clapham Juncton station, you will discover the wonderfully welcoming Brew & Barrel.
This relaxed, neighbourhood cafe serves up the most delicious brunches (with some healthy options for those watching their weight) and amazing coffee. The cafe owner has 3 dogs so naturally welcomes all pooches and Nacho and his guest were delighted when the waiter brought over a couple of sausages.
If you'd like to see how that went, check out our video here
Pooches of Clapham are very lucky to have this cafe also in the Old Town. We highly recommend visiting both.

Oree
Also on Northcote Road you will find Oree Boulangerie. We were delighted to recently discover that all their London locations welcome pooches in and this one even had some biscuits for us!
It wasn't so good for the old woman as she's currently on a diet.
