I was recently invited to the birthday party of our very good friends The Cavdashians at Exhibit Balham so we thought we would check out the very dog friendly Brickwood Coffee for a spot of lunch.
The cafe has a few tables outside on the pedestrianised Hildreth Street but we doggies are also very welcome inside. There isn’t a lot of space inside and it can be very busy at weekends but the staff are very friendly and found us a table where I could be tucked away so no-one stepped on my tail.
The decor is very trendy with exposed brick and neon signs and the food is Aussie inspired all-day brunch accompanied by great coffee from their very own Market Blend by Caravan Coffee Roasters.
Brickwood is a small group of neighbourhood cafes across London. Offering quality coffee, brunch and full table service.
The humans enjoyed The Butcher (with Rana’s Peckham Sourdough and Wicks Manor Gluten Free Sausages) and The Big Smoke Toastie (with Wicks Manor 8 hour BBQ pulled pork). They said it was all delicious and the coffee was good too. I was brought water and the humans saved me a bit of sausage!
There are also branches of Brickwood in Clapham, Tooting and Streatham - all of which welcome us pooches. I look forward to visiting them all soon.
I give Brickwood 3 paws.

P.s this is how I rate dog friendly places
1 paw - not really dog friendly, more dog tolerant!
2 paws - worth a visit if you are in the area. Probably more for the humans.
3 paws - very dog friendly, worth going a little bit out of your way.
4 paws - super dog friendly (e.g have dog menu) worth a special trip.
