Benny's walkies at Dovestone Reservoir Manchester
The dog brand Pawsome Paws Boutique has an amazing Walkies Ready Club where dog parents meet up all over the country for incredible walks. It's a wonderful community and means you get to meet a lot of Instagram friends you may not get a chance to meet otherwise. I found myself a bit starstruck at the gorgeous dogs we met, after following them online for years.
Our walk took us to Dovestone Reservoir in greater Manchester. Part of the Peak District National Park. It's a place we've been to before and has so many different paths you can take. The one we took this time was a 4.3km loop that had us going up rocky terrain, past streams which were a big hit with the dogs who love water, long grassy areas the dogs could weave in and out of and muddy puddles which Benny tried his best to avoid! It was a beautiful walk with an abundance of stunning views the whole way round. It was also quite quiet on this particular Saturday morning.
We had an array of British weather from beautiful sunshine to cloudy moments and then five minutes of a good old fashioned shower, but come rain or shine the whole morning was fantastic.
. He did fantastic with the other dogs too and really enjoyed himself. I highly recommend a visit and also to check out Pawsome Paws Boutique walkies ready club for other walks in your area.
There are a few different parking spots. The main one we parked in is pay and display.
