Perfect Pet Portraits
We recently had a portrait commissioned of Skye from Emma Simpkins.
Emma is so lovely, she can be found on her website where you can also find her social media links too. She is based in London where she attends many stalls to showcase her work, but she also has commissions open for people further afield too where she will then post your pet portrait to you.
My experience with Emma was remote based, we mainly communicated via email where she asked for a high resolution photo of Skye she could use for her portrait. As she can only work from what you give her, so as much detail that is available in these photos, the better results she can provide for the finished drawing.
Usually a £50 deposit is required to secure your booking and Emma will give you a timeframe of when you can expect your portrait. These portraits are usually A4 and a head/shoulders drawing, however Emma is happy to work around you with what you would like. She is also willing to accommodate people with certain dates EG birthdays etc.
I can honestly say I am blown away with the detail of Skye's portrait, Emma has captured her really well. Her colouring is perfect, she has even added the little details of her tag too which I was super impressed with!
As I mentioned earlier, we had communicated remotely as I am based in Manchester, so my portrait was posted out to me (it arrived in perfect condition and was wrapped beautifully). If you are based closer to Emma, she loves to meet her clients face to face & is willing to hand deliver portraits if that is something that works for you.
