The Pheasant Inn Lambourn

A Lovely Weekend at The Pheasant Inn

Baxter and I recently stayed at The Pheasant Inn in Berkshire. Tucked away in Shefford Woodlands, this charming country pub with rooms is the kind of place where you immediately feel welcome. Surrounded by rolling countryside and just minutes from the M4, it feels both peaceful and accessible, making it an ideal choice for a short escape.

The inn itself has all the character you would expect from a historic coaching inn. Exposed beams, open fires and thoughtful touches in the décor give it plenty of atmosphere. It manages to balance the cosiness of a village pub with the comfort of a boutique hotel, which makes it equally appealing for a quiet drink by the fire or a longer weekend away.

From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a treat. Our room was warm and inviting, with soft furnishings and country-inspired styling that instantly felt relaxing.

Waiting for Baxter was a Happy Dog Hamper from The Canine Menu, complete with chews and tasty treats to keep him busy during our stay. It was such a thoughtful welcome and immediately set the tone for a dog friendly visit where Baxter was just as important a guest as I was.

Dinner in the pub did not disappoint. The lamb was beautifully presented and full of flavour, and the sticky toffee pudding was rich, indulgent and the perfect way to finish the meal. While I enjoyed my food, Baxter was treated to his own puppuccino from the dedicated puppuccino bar. Seeing him included in the dining experience was a highlight of the evening, and it really underlined how much care the team puts into welcoming dogs as part of the family.

After a restful night’s sleep in our comfortable room, we made our way down for breakfast. The morning menu offered a variety of choices and I opted for smashed avocado on sourdough topped with poached eggs. It was fresh, filling and beautifully prepared. Baxter, never one to be left out, happily settled down with one of the buffalo chews from his hamper. Sitting together while I enjoyed my coffee and he worked through his treat was the perfect start to the day.

What really stood out throughout our stay was the friendliness of the staff. They were warm, attentive and always ready to make a fuss of Baxter. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and that level of hospitality made the experience feel special. It was more than just an overnight stay; it was a chance to properly relax, switch off and enjoy time together in a setting that felt both homely and indulgent.

We weren’t quite ready to head home after checking out, so we took advantage of the inn’s location and made a stop at Avebury Stone Circle before beginning our journey back. I’ll be sharing more about that in my next post.

I live in the UK and discovered this online casino through a friend who mentioned it during a long train ride chat about random ways to kill time. Later that night, I tried it myself. What caught my attention was how quickly I understood what was happening without tutorials everywhere. While juggling music playlists and emails, golden panda casino  sat right in the middle of my browser. I enjoyed a short session, didn’t lose track of time, and stopped feeling content with the experience.

I first found Mystbet review through a forum thread and wanted to explore it myself. The site feels well-organized, and navigation is intuitive. Switching between pages was quick and comfortable. I ended up browsing longer than expected without any confusion. Overall, it feels like a practical and easy-to-use site for UK users.

I wasn’t even supposed to look for lawyers. I was stalking an old flame online when Interpol came up in conversation and freaked me out. That panic spiral led me to https://extraditionsolicitors.co.uk/ sitting right in the middle of my late-night search. The UK angle mattered since London keeps popping up in my life. I liked how they talk about politically motivated cases without sugarcoating. It reminded me of meeting someone online for sex and accidentally getting real emotional support. Unexpected, but solid.

Hello everyone. I stumbled onto this page after seeing a banner while reading UK boxing news late one night. I’ve followed Jake Paul since his early bouts, but I wanted something clearer about how his wins and losses actually stack up. Halfway through my reading, I paused on the breakdown of his Jake Paul record, which helped me make sense of the criticism and praise he gets. The timelines and context around each opponent felt balanced. It left me feeling more informed rather than pushed toward an opinion.
