  • Zenoo - Freeze Dried Food for Dogs

The Four Legged Foodies Woof About this raw food for dogs We love all food (hence the name) but nothing gets us drooling like raw meat. You'll often find us hanging around her feet as she prepares a Sunday Roast (she's very clumsy). So she has toyed with the idea of a raw diet but was put off by the mess, smell and inflexibility when travelling. That's why we were all happy to try freeze-dried raw food by Zenoo. It ticks all the boxes when it comes to nutrition but without the mess. As we are often on our adventures finding the best places to recommend to our doggy friends, one of the most important things is having a food that travels as well as we do. Not all hotel rooms have fridges and our food takes up a lot of room in the suitcase but with Zenoo freeze-dried food we can travel light. If you're not familiar with freeze dried food, here's how it works: Zenoo take 100% raw meat then remove 98%of the water. The freeze-drying process allows the food to retain all it's nutritional value but means there's no need to take up space in your fridge or freezer and it will last 4 times longer than fresh raw food. It's also great for those non meat-eating humans who just don't want to handle raw flesh! Pour the food into the bowl, and that's it! No preparation, no thaw & no worries. As you can see, Nacho licked the bowl clean. Archie was delighted to discover Zenoo do treats too. Your first order will also include Zeolite supplements, along with a handy feeding guide to help you transition to a new food and tips to make feeding time more enjoyable for picky eaters. We've heard rumours such dogs exist!! For more information about Zenoo and to place your order, visit their website or check them out on Insta !

  • Dog Friendly North Yorkshire

Beaches, culture, countryside and even Harry Potter! Pictured is the 200 year old viaduct over the river Nidd at Knaresborough We recently embarked on an adventure to show our American friend Cedric the delights of our human's home county with a tour of North Yorkshire. We were delighted to discover the area is extremely dog friendly and would like to share some highlights of our trip. Stonegate, York We began our adventure in the area's capital city of York where we based ourselves for a few days, staying in an apartment by Wheelwrights who have several in the city centre. Museum Gardens, York York has lots of great architecture to see and some wonderful green spaces like the Museum Gardens and Tower Gardens plus some great walks along the river. If you need to rest your little legs for a while, a great place to see the city is from the river. City Cruises welcome four legged friends to travel free on all their York river cruises. You just have to have a paying human with you! When in York be sure to visit its most famous street, The Shambles. This ancient cobbled street has been around since the 13th century and is a must for Harry Potter fans as it is rumoured to be the inspiration for Diagon Alley. Amongst the wizard themed shops there is also a market and street food market. The area is always very busy so if you want some perfect photos we recommend you pop by early in the morning! Revolution Bar, York Obviously food is never far from our thoughts but all this adventuring helps build up quite an appetite! There are many dog friendly pubs and restaurants to choose from. We enjoyed Revolution Bar which is a large space by the river (be warned it can be lively and noisy in the evenings). The staff at Revolution are super friendly and we had a huge feast! We also visited The Star Inn The City for a delicious Sunday Roast and Partisan is great for breakfast Cliffords Tower Areas where dogs are not permitted in York include inside any museums, up Cliffords Tower and on the City Walls. But you can still get great pics of them. On day 2 we decided a trip to the seaside was needed so we headed to the harbour town of Whitby. The beach at Whitby is a huge stretch of sand with a gentle shoreline - perfect for running and paddling. The beach is dog friendly until end of April and a small stretch on East Side all year round. Nacho is wearing Reg&Bob , Cedric is wearing Wyldcub After the obligatory fish and chips (which you may need to enjoy al fresco as we only discovered one fish and chip restaurant who welcomed dogs inside) climb the 199 steps up to Whitby's most famous landmark - The Abbey. Dracula leapt up these very steps disguised as a big black dog in Bram Stoker's novel but for those less able to cope with such a climb, you can drive up there or use the hop on hop off bus. However you decide to get there, it's certainly worth the effort to see the stunning remains of the 7th century Abbey and some fantastic views of Whitby and surrounding areas. You can see quite a bit of the Abbey from outside its walls but dogs are also allowed within the English Heritage site on a lead. There is an entrance fee to pay. Whitby has cute cobbled streets with plenty of dog friendly boutique shops and cafes. The humans enjoyed coffee at Hopes and Beans who gave Cedric and I some treats. We are also welcome on the many boat trips that depart from the harbour. Nacho is wearing Ralph & Co Next stop was the pretty spa town of Harrogate which is famous for its Victorian architecture, beautiful flower gardens, and Betty's Tea Rooms (sorry no dogs allowed at Betty's 😢) Before discovering all that Harrogate had to offer, we decided to set ourselves up for the day with a hearty brunch. On the outskirts of the town centre you will find Brew Bar which is a fabulous dog friendly neighbourhood cafe. We were made to feel so welcome at Brew Bar and the humans loved their brunch dishes. A must visit if you are in the area and it's just a short walk through a park into town from there. With our bellies full, we then explored the beautiful town and did some shopping in the many dog friendly stores. As mentioned earlier, Harrogate is home to the original Betty's Tea Rooms but dogs are not permitted at any of their locations and they do not have any outdoor seating. If you want to sample their famous delights, you can get a takeaway to enjoy in one of the pretty town centre gardens. We actually struggled to find any dog friendly afternoon teas but eventually found Mamma Doreen's Emporium had a few tables outside (albeit on a busy roadside). On your way to or from Harrogate, be sure to stop off at the very beautiful Knaresborough to see the viaduct and Mother Shipton's Cave. The Bike and Boot Inn, Scarborough Archie joined us for the next leg of the tour, which began in Scarborough. Scarborough is a typical English seaside resort with a large sandy beach, a long promenade and lots to see and do. We particularly enjoyed the beach, sections of which welcome us all year round, including the part pictured above. We also liked to ride on the tram which takes you from the top of Scarborough down to the seafront. We stayed at The Bike and Boot Inn in Scarborough which is so dog friendly it even has its own dog grooming area! It's like a spa weekend for dogs! The rooms at the Bike and Boot are spacious and super comfy and there is a fridge so we had somewhere to keep our Butternut Box . The hotel is situated at the top of the cliffs so has an excellent view of the sea. We doggies are welcome throughout the hotel including the bar areas and restaurant so you can join the humans when eating and drinking (which ours like to do a lot of)! The restaurant Bareca serves food all day and the humans said everything was delicious. A new Bike and Boot Inn opens in the Peak District in November 2022! Look out for our review once we have been there. No dog can visit North Yorkshire without stopping off at the market town of Malton which was voted UK's most dog friendly town in 2018. The town is small but has some cute cafes and boutique shops to explore and lots of treats on offer for four legged friends. We had a wonderful lunch at The Talbot in Malton which welcomes us in the bar area and outdoor areas. The garden has fantastic views over the valley and the humans said the food was worthy of a Michelin Star. Four legged foodies can also stay the night at The Talbot. Across from the hotel you will find Talbot Yard with more foodie options, including yummy ice cream from Groovy Moo . Our Yorkshire adventure was epic and we highly recommend our pals visit the area soon. You can find more information here and Canine Cottages have some great guides from locals too. • Dog Friendly Lincolnshire

Steep Hills, Golden Sands and Donkeys Lincolnshire is a large, mostly agricultural county with a variety of landscapes and a large North Sea coastline on the East Coast. The area is famous for the Lincolnshire Wolds, its seaside towns and the cathedral city of Lincoln. Our grandpawrents live in a town called Sutton-on-Sea which is between Skegness and Mablethorpe so we are lucky to get to visit this wonderful beach often. This huge expanse of sandy beach is dog friendly all year round and Sutton is a great place to visit if you prefer somewhere with less hustle and bustle than the main resorts. There is a wide promenade along the beach, lined with colourful beach huts and plenty of benches for you to sit and relax or enjoy your fish and chips. Most of the towns in Lincolnshire are somewhat lacking in good quality dog friendly places but we believe the beaches alone make it worth the trip. Here's what else we discovered in Lincolnshire. The city of Lincoln is definitely worth a visit for its beautiful cathedral and 11th century castle. Both of these are found at the top of the city's famous steep hill, a cobbled hill with a one in seven gradient. The top of the hill can be accessed by car but you have to give walking up it a go, just make sure your humans have sensible shoes! The hill is lined with independent shops and tea rooms, most of which welcome us pooches. In November, the top of the hill is home to one of Europe's largest Christmas Markets. Throughout the year, Lincoln Castle hosts dog friendly days * where we can explore the grounds, walk on the medieval wall and even discover what it was like to be locked up in a Victorian prison! * outside of these day, dogs are not permitted anywhere within the castle grounds. After a couple of hours at the Castle, we were in need of refreshments so headed to The Tower Hotel. Time for lunch... After scaling that hill and almost getting locked in a cell, we deserved a treat! The Tower Hotel is unassuming from the outside with a small terrace facing the road but the food and the welcoming staff are exceptional. We arrived to treats and water already waiting for us and quickly spotted pork crackling on the menu. We sat in the bar area which was most welcome as it was a very hot day and the stone floor was cooling for our bellies. Pooches are also welcome on the front terrace and rear garden. The humans enjoyed what was possibly the largest Arancini ball they ever saw and a delicious gnocchi, washed down with a couple of cocktails. We noticed female human eyeing up the Afternoon Teas on our way out so feel a return visit is inevitable! Next stop Gainsborough... Gainsborough is a small market town with markets still held on Tuesday and Saturday. We headed to Marshall's Yard which is on the site of an old Ironworks that dates back to 1848. The development has plenty of parking (only £1 for 4 hours!! Imagine that in Chelsea??) and is home to Caldero Lounge. This café bar has a terrace outside and inside is super spacious with plenty of comfortable seats for us pups to join the humans for brunch, lunch, dinner and cocktails. We were delighted with the large plate of treats the friendly staff brought for us and the humans loved their eggs benedict and Katsu chicken burger. What else can doggies do in Lincolnshire? Louth The market town of Louth is known as the foodie capital of Lincolnshire with many of the shops and cafes welcoming us. We obviously had to try Archie's café which is located in one of the quaint alleyways. Two legged foodies are very welcome and it's a great place for breakfast or coffee and cake. Skegness The seaside resort doesn't have a lot to offer pooches, most restaurants only welcome us outside. But if you like creatures from the sea, we are welcome to join humans (on leads at all times for obvious reasons) at the Natureland Seal Sanctuary Huttoft If you prefer animals who live on land, then put a visit to this village on your agenda as it is home to Radcliffe Donkey Sanctuary . Humans can pet and feed the funny looking horses and can even adopt one but don't worry that doesn't mean it has to come home with you! #dogfriendly #dogfriendlyukholidays #dogfriendlylincolnshire #dogfriendlylincoln

  • Lygon Arms Broadway

The Four Legged Foodies feel like Hollywood stars The Lygon Arms is a beautiful 600 year old hotel in the heart of the Cotswolds in Broadway where four legged foodies can enjoy a luxurious stay with their humans. Here's what we thought of our stay. We were greeted by the friendly staff upon arrival and given a tour of the hotel before being shown to our courtyard room. The courtyard rooms are perfect for pooches as they are spacious, have no stairs and and have easy access to the gardens. We were delighted to find some treats for us and the humans waiting for us in the room. After unpacking our suitcase, we took a stroll around the beautiful village of Broadway which is a picture perfect English village. The majority of the shops, cafes and restaurants are all on the same road as the hotel and most welcome doggies in. After our exploring it was time to return to the hotel for dinner which is taken in the Russell Room . We arrived at our table to find beds, treats and our very own menu waiting for us. While we enjoyed our sausage casserole with gravy and peas, the humans tucked into some delicious food too. Most of the food served is sourced from artisan providers and growers close to the hotel. With full bellies we returned to our room and settled down for a good sleep in our Le Chameau beds where the staff had also left us some Sleepy Time treats by The Doghouse. Humans get some Elemis toiletries left on their pillows but apparently you can't eat that! The beautiful gardens are perfect for a morning run around (they are 3 times the size of what is pictured here) and have an ornamental maze as well as plenty of grass. It was a bit damp when we visited as you can see but there is a doggie wash and clean up area in the courtyard so can get yourself presentable before heading to the hotel for breakfast. Breakfast is also in The Russell Room which is super comfy and spacious. The breakfast buffet is in the main restaurant so humans have to go and bring back sausage and bacon for us. The exercise is good for them! If you visit as a single person with your dog, you can rest assured the staff will do everything they can to assist you. We loved the character of the hotel and there are lots of little cosy areas to discover. What's even better is that every time we came across a member of staff, they had a treat for us! After breakfast we did some more exploring and went back to the Cotswold Court where we found lots of independent shops and a great pet shop where we picked up some Christmas gifts. You can also pick up some doggie gifts at the hotel. We seem to be followed everywhere recently by giraffes and spotted this one lurking outside another hotel. Before our drive home we also stopped off at neighbouring Chipping Campden which is another pretty village with lots of dog friendly places. We could only stay for 1 night this time but if you want to explore more of the Cotswolds, The Lygon Arms is ideally situated to see it all! We highly recommend a stay at The Lygon Arms as a special treat for deserving doggies. Some important stuff to know before you visit: Dogs are welcome everywhere except the main restaurant and spa. There is plenty of free parking in the hotel car park The hotel is right in the centre of Broadway

  • Bethnal & Bec

This is Where the Magic Happens There are some places where, from the moment you arrive, you feel all your worries slip away and you just say "aaaaah...." Well Bethnal&Bec Luxury Stays is one of those places. As soon as you walk through the door, you think "yes I could stay here forever." The retreat is for grown-ups (and dogs) only and there are 3 self-catered accommodations, Bethnal, Bec and The Foaling Box. Pooches are welcome in Bethnal or Bec. We stayed in Bethnal for 1 night in May and after a boring drive in the car with grey skies looming, we arrived in Hertfordshire just as the sun came out. Which meant we could take advantage of the wonderful garden. The garden is completely secure to keep adventurous pups from escaping and overlooks the paddock. It has everything the humans need to relax. There is a comfy outdoor sofa, a table for al fresco dining, an outdoor deep soaking bath, fire pit (which we used when the evening turned chilly). Inside there is a kitchen area, sofa, large TV, spacious bed and a luxurious roll-top bath with a viewing window. There is a separate bathroom with a huge rainforest shower and complimentary Aromatherapy Associates products. The humans loved all the extra little touches like the record player with a selection of vinyl LPs and lots of things we could take photos with. We loved the treats that were left for us and that there was extra treats and toys you could buy during your stay. After the humans finished unpacking and had a couple of beers, we went to explore the paddock and meet resident dog Hendrix. The paddock is accessed directly from the garden and leads to an enclosed, shady path where you can go for walkies and sniff out the local talent! Obviously, we have to talk about the food! Breakfast is included and you will find a box with all the goodies in your room to suit all dietary requirements. We always insist ours go for the full English so we get to share the bacon. The accommodation has a Staples Pantry with all the essentials for cooking your own food and things like cereal, rice, pasta. There is even a tipple of gin and whiskey. The freezer is stocked with ready prepared meals and some other extras, plus there is an honesty larder. All these items can be easily purchased using the digital pad in the room. Our humans pre-booked the Pimp My Pizza dine-in box and all the ingredients to make 2 delicious pizzas were waiting for us, along with the pizza oven in the garden. You can see what dine-in boxes are available for your stay on the website . (Our silly humans burnt their pizza so we won't embarrass them by showing you a photo). Bethnal&Bec Luxury Stays is a family-run business, where Vicky and Chris have created the perfect place to create some wonderful memories. Thee are lots of ways you can add to your stay with their Celebration Packages and you can even book a Private Chef (note to humans for next time). They have even put together some Curated Experiences in the local area, so you can truly relax during your stay. Chris and Vicky are on hand to assist with any problems via WhatsApp (including coming to assist our simple humans how to use the pizza oven). Check out our reel to get an even better feel of our stay and follow @bethnalandbec to see their special offers. We just have one question for our humans. When can we go back? Useful info: Getting there - Bethnal & Bec is in Hertfordshire, around 1- 2 hour drive from central London. Trains are 20 mins fast from Kings Cross / St Pancras into Stevenage. 15 min taxi (they take dogs plenty outside the station), 40 min bus 386 towards Bishops Stortford and from bus station directly opposite or pre book Herts Lynx bus here Parking - allocated parking in covered carport opposite accommodation, main gate closed at night. Walks - from the paddock there is a walk on a shady path. We explored Fairlands Valley Park on the way home, just 15 minute drive from Bethnal & Bec, which is a large country park with a lake and cafe. Dog rules - all pooches are very welcome and blankets are provided for those who like to sit on the furniture. Please clear up after your dog and obey the rules of the countryside (i.e on lead where livestock are around). Please let Chris and Vicky know if you have a reactive dog so they can keep Hendrix away. Good to know - the nearest supermarket is in Buntingford and you can find the nearest dog friendly pubs here You are welcome to bring your own food but the pizza oven and BBQ are only provided if you purchase a Dine-in box. #dogfriendlystaycation #dogfriendlyaccommodation #dogfriendlyholidayuk #dogfriendlyhertfordshire #dogfriendlyholiday

  • The Lamb Hindon

Meet The Four Legged Foodies at the baaaa.. Sometimes the hustle and bustle of the city gets a bit much and we just need a spot of country air and some space to relax. That's why we chose to spend the weekend in south Wiltshire and stay at The Lamb in Hindon. If you too need a break from it all, then here's what you can expect from this Young's hotel and nearby attractions. Our room had everything we all needed, including treats, bowls, beds and a towel for us. The humans had some delicious homemade shortbread waiting for them. It's small things like this that really make a difference to foodies! After a quick tour of the hotel amenities, we explored the village of Hindon. It is a tiny village with 2 pubs (with rooms) a community shop and a pretty church. The church had an animal blessing service that weekend. Check out our video here to see Nacho being blessed. Hindon can be described as a quintessential English village, and makes for some pretty backdrops to photos. Just a 5 minute drive away (we recommend driving because pavements are rare on country lanes) you will find Fonthill Lake which is great for walkies. You can walk all around its perimeter or just part of the way depending on your stamina. There are parts where you walk through farmers fields so you have to be on the lead in those areas. But it's worth it for the view when you reach the southern part of the lake! (Apologies the human's butt is blocking most of it 😁) T hanks to all that fresh air, we worked up quite an appetite and headed back to The Lamb for dinner. The pub is famous for its beef which is dry aged on the premises, so it would have been rude not to give it a try. The humans are very greedy but they did let us a try a bit. We just wished we could have figured out how to break in to that fridge! Pooches don't go hungry at The Lamb with treats on the bar and you could persuade your humans to order the lamb popcorn for you! After dinner you can relax with a few drinks in the bar by the fire or out in the garden in summer. With full bellies, we headed back to our comfy room for a good night's sleep. Before we got in our own beds, we had goodnight snuggles on our blanket from Pup & Kit We don't let the humans have much of a sleep in when we are away because we wake up to the smell of cooking sausages and that drives us a bit crazy! Thankfully the humans always order us one to share while they have their brekkie. After a quick visit to the church for Nacho's blessing, we visited nearby Wardour Castle which is an English Heritage site. The 14th century ruin is next to a lake and dogs are welcome to explore the area on leads. Nacho enjoyed exploring the grotto but was disappointed not to find Santa! Before heading back to London, we stopped off in the market town of Shaftesbury for afternoon tea and a spot of shopping at the craft market. There is a lot of history to this town, dating back to the time of King Alfred! He may be no longer around but his name lives on at the King Alfred's Kitchen where you can enjoy homemade Dorset cream teas. Find your perfect pub with room at Young's!

  • Wulf and Lamb

The humans are trying to include more plant-based cuisine into their diet. I told them the grass on Putney Common is quite tasty but then they took me to Wulf and Lamb in Chelsea and I realised what they meant! This beautiful vegan restaurant whose motto is “Run with the wolves. Eat with the lambs” is in the middle of the very smart Pavillion Road, which like most of Chelsea is very dog friendly. The restaurant is situated over 2 floors and we doggies are welcome everywhere. Downstairs is a bit busier as that’s where you place your order but upstairs is very spacious with loads of natural light. They also have a terrace and a few tables out front. I was made very welcome by the staff who brought me water and allowed me to sit on the seats for photos. We went on a Saturday lunchtime and there was plenty of space because of how the restaurant is set out. The humans said their food was some of the tastiest they had ever eaten. They had the Open Burrito and Tex Mex Salad. They are almost as greedy as I am so managed to eat it all even though both dishes were quite large. They said that Wulf and Lamb proves that you don’t need meat to have delicious food. “We’ve crafted a menu to satisfy your craving for comfort food. Each dish is stacked with flavours and surprising ingredients.” You can visit their website http://wulfandlamb.com/ for menus and opening times. They also do food to go if you’re in a hurry but we highly recommend you visit the restaurant for a lazy lunch. I give Wulf and Lamb 3 paws. Archie 🐾🐾 P.s this is how we rate dog friendly places 1 paw - not really dog friendly, more dog tolerant! 2 paws - worth a visit if you are in the area. Probably more for the humans. 3 paws - very dog friendly, worth going a little bit out of your way. 4 paws - super dog friendly (e.g have dog menu) worth a special trip.

  • No.1a Duke Street

Our humans love to brunch and we love to go with them whenever possible. So we were delighted to accompany them to this fantastic restaurant in the heart of Richmond. Tucked just off the high street No.1a Duke Street is a bright and airy neighbourhood restaurant serving breakfast, all-day brunch and Sunday lunch. Outside is a lovely enclosed courtyard with an elegant but cosy vibe complete with foliage and festoon lighting. We doggies are also welcome inside which is just as elegant with stripped back wooden tables and plenty of natural light. WE ARE AN INDEPENDENT NEIGHBOURHOOD BAR AND RESTAURANT WITH A CONTEMPORARY INTERIOR PROVIDING THE PERFECT BACK DROP FOR RELAXED EATING AND DRINKING. BE IT DAY OR NIGHT, COFFEE OR NIGHTCAP, COME AND VISIT US, PLONK YOURSELF IN A CHAIR AND LOSE YOURSELF FOR A FEW HOURS. The humans said it felt like being in California - we wouldn’t know about that! There were a few other doggies there when we visited on a Sunday morning but there was plenty of space for us all. The staff were very friendly and brought us water. They didn’t even mind us sitting on the furniture for our photo shoot, where the humans tormented us with their delicious looking food but didn’t let us have any. They ate edamame hummus and breakfast tacos and apparently it was all as delicious as it looked. Of course, they also had a sneaky cocktail. No.1a Duke Street is part of the Darwin and Wallace group who have 6 restaurants in South West London. We can’t wait to try them all!! We give No.1a Duke Street 3 paws. Archie and Freddie 🐾🐾 P.s this is how we rate dog friendly places 1 paw - not really dog friendly, more dog tolerant! 2 paws - worth a visit if you are in the area. Probably more for the humans. 3 paws - very dog friendly, worth going a little bit out of your way. 4 paws - super dog friendly (e.g have dog menu) worth a special trip.

  • Brickwood Coffee and Bread

I was recently invited to the birthday party of our very good friends The Cavdashians at Exhibit Balham so we thought we would check out the very dog friendly Brickwood Coffee for a spot of lunch. The cafe has a few tables outside on the pedestrianised Hildreth Street but we doggies are also very welcome inside. There isn’t a lot of space inside and it can be very busy at weekends but the staff are very friendly and found us a table where I could be tucked away so no-one stepped on my tail. The decor is very trendy with exposed brick and neon signs and the food is Aussie inspired all-day brunch accompanied by great coffee from their very own Market Blend by Caravan Coffee Roasters . Brickwood is a small group of neighbourhood cafes across London. Offering quality coffee, brunch and full table service. The humans enjoyed The Butcher (with Rana’s Peckham Sourdough and Wicks Manor Gluten Free Sausages) and The Big Smoke Toastie (with Wicks Manor 8 hour BBQ pulled pork). They said it was all delicious and the coffee was good too. I was brought water and the humans saved me a bit of sausage! There are also branches of Brickwood in Clapham, Tooting and Streatham - all of which welcome us pooches. I look forward to visiting them all soon. I give Brickwood 3 paws. Archie 🐾🐾 P.s this is how I rate dog friendly places 1 paw - not really dog friendly, more dog tolerant! 2 paws - worth a visit if you are in the area. Probably more for the humans. 3 paws - very dog friendly, worth going a little bit out of your way. 4 paws - super dog friendly (e.g have dog menu) worth a special trip.

  • Milestone Hotel

I recently went with the human to pick out the best spot in Hyde park for our doggie picnic in June. I considered this to be work so I demanded a treat in return as it was a Sunday after all. We had our friends Ann and Mikey with us so we headed across the road to The Milestone Hotel as we had heard from other doggie friends that it was a good place to visit. We were welcomed by Steven the doorman who asked for a photo with me and of course I obliged - Gaynor said my ego didn’t need any more boosting as it’s big enough already! Then some other friendly staff said hello and showed us into the bar and conservatory, where doggies are welcome to join the humans for afternoon tea or food from the extensive bar menu. Both areas are quite small so might be tricky when they are busy but it was quiet when we went on a Sunday afternoon. Water was brought to us and topped up by the very friendly barman, he even brought us our own bowl of crisps because he thought we looked hungry - yes I’ve been perfecting that look for 9 years my friends! You’ll need to take your own treats if your humans prefer you not to eat crisps. The humans enjoyed their Durban style chicken curry with dips and naan bread, washed down with a few glasses of wine. (She told me not to mention that 😜) The Milestone Hotel is part of the Red Carnation Group and all their hotels are dog friendly. Egerton House Hotel is another favourite of ours. Red Carnation Hotels is a family owned collection, renowned for impeccable service and generous hospitality. We take great pride in delivering warm, thoughtful and personal service to create memorable experiences for our guests. Why not join us in Hyde Park on Saturday 1st June for our doggie picnic then take the humans to the Milestone Hotel for a drink afterwards? I give the Milestone Hotel 3 paws. Archie 🐾🐾 P.s this is how I rate dog friendly places 1 paw - not really dog friendly, more dog tolerant! 2 paws - happy to accommodate us but more for the humans 3 paws - very dog friendly, worth going a little bit out of your way 4 paws - super dog friendly (e.g have dog menu) worth a special trip
