- ARC Dogwear - Code WOOFABOUT10 for 10% off
Memorable, sustainable fashion for dogs ARC Dogwear is not only making pups look good but also doing good by donating a percentage of profits to dog charities such as Pet Blood Bank. "ARC Dogwear is dog harness and accessories company. We have known the ladies behind the company for a few years now, way before ARC was thought of. I own quite a few of their designs. The designs are amazing. Bright, colourful and timeless. They make sure the quality is the best it can be. Not only do they design the most gorgeous harnesses but with every sale they make part of the profits are donated to a charity. The charities they currently support are ‘The Dogs Trust’ and ‘Mika’s Mutts Dog Rescue’. They have also committed to covering the blood-screening costs for five new donors each month through the Pet Blood Bank. Another scheme they are running is the ARC Pass it on Scheme. If your dog outgrows their ARC harness or you just don’t want it anymore donate it to your chosen animal charity, rescue or shelter. Send ARC proof, this can be a donation receipt, confirmation email, or a photo of the item at charity. ARC will then issue you a £5 thank you gift card to use towards your next ARC. Harness. I would highly recommend purchasing your next harness from ARC. You know you will be helping others that need it." - Gala Gelato
Dog friendly desserts in Surbiton https://www.instagram.com/cocodeardiary If you’re always on the lookout for cosy spots where your dog is genuinely welcome, this little gem in Surbiton needs to be on your list. We recently visited Gala Gelato and honestly… it’s one of those places that just feels good the moment you walk in. 🍨 A Sweet Spot for Humans (and Dogs) https://www.instagram.com/cocodeardiary From artisan Italian gelato in so many flavours to fresh fruit smoothies, crepes, waffles, milkshakes and great coffee, everything we tried was delicious. https://www.instagram.com/cocodeardiary The gelato is beautifully made, with options including: - Classic Italian flavours - Coconut vegan options - Vegetarian choices You can really taste the quality, the fruit flavours are vibrant and refreshing, and everything feels thoughtfully made. https://www.instagram.com/cocodeardiary And if you’re more of a breakfast person, they also serve: - Greek yoghurt - Granola - Pastries - Fresh smoothies made with fresh fruits and vegetables (my top favourite) Perfect if you’re heading there after the gym (which many locals do!) or stopping by for a relaxed morning coffee. https://www.instagram.com/cocodeardiary 🐶 Yes… They Have Dog Ice Cream The part that made us smile the most? They serve dog ice cream with collagen. 🦴🍦 https://www.instagram.com/cocodeardiary Watching pups and their humans enjoying treats together just makes the whole experience extra special. It’s not just “dog-friendly”, it genuinely feels like dogs are part of the family here. Dogs (and even cats!) are welcomed into the cosy seating area, which makes such a difference during colder months. https://www.instagram.com/cocodeardiary ✨ The Story Behind Gala Gelato We had the chance to speak with the owner, and hearing her journey made us love the place even more. - They got the keys at the end of July 2025, opening first for gelato during the summer. - Initially, they focused on gelato, milkshakes, waffles and crepes. - In October 2025, they began designing and decorating the space to create a warm, cosy, family-friendly atmosphere. - The sitting area officially opened on 23 November 2025. https://www.instagram.com/cocodeardiary Her vision? To create a welcoming space where people can pop in after dinner, before or after the gym, or simply spend quality time with family, furry members included. And they’re not stopping there. Even more breakfast options are planned for the future. 🫶 Why We Loved It It’s not just about the food (although that’s amazing). It’s the feeling. Cosy interiors. Friendly atmosphere. Fresh ingredients. Dogs happily sitting beside their humans. It’s the kind of neighbourhood café you want to keep going back to. 📍 Gala Gelato 2 St Andrew’s House, St Andrew's Rd, Surbiton, London, KT6 4FG Instagram: @gala_surbiton

- West End Tails - Code WOOFABOUT for 10% off grooming
Daycare and grooming in the heart of London London's West End is famous for being host to thousands of visitors every day who come to watch humans prancing about on a stage. Now dogs can get a taste of the celeb life at West End Tails , where every pooch is treated like an A-lister. I made friends the resident dog Isla and regular Alfie and we hung out in the luxurious den where no surface is off limits to dogs. (by the way non gingers are also welcome). The den is currently decked out for the festive season but every day at West End Tails is like Christmas as there are toys everywhere to play with and always treats on hand. The human said I was looking shaggy so I paid a visit to resident groomer George who got me looking like a show dog again. I've only ever been groomed by my human before so it was kind of a big deal for us to trust another groomer, but just like all the other staff, George was incredibly kind and patient. He even appreciated my kisses! George uses Houndsly grooming products which meant I smelt good enough to get on stage with Michael Ball. Book your groom here and get 10% off with code WOOFABOUT. West End Tails is the brain child of Susan and Jack who met 3 years ago whilst competing at Tough Mudder. Jack - a West End performer himself, and many of his peers found it difficult to find daycare for their beloved pooches that would suit their crazy working hours. So West End Tails was born and it's clear to see, they were both born to work with dogs. I felt right at home at West End Tails so they will definitely be seeing more of me! The humans are already planning their next theatre trip and I've reserved a cuddle on the sofa with Jack and Isla. - Believe in Richmond
Dog friendly Richmond. This leafy borough in South West London loves dogs as much as they love Ted Lasso! South West London is famously very dog friendly and Richmond Upon Thames is at the very heart of that part of London. As the name suggests, it benefits from being on the Thames which offers some great riverside walks and stunning views. It is also home to some great places for you to dine with your pooch. The riverside locale not only provides scenic strolls but also opens up opportunities for dog walkers to turn their love for dogs into a fulfilling profession. Let's start right on the river (literally) with the stunning Peggy Jean Green . Aboard this fabulously instagrammable converted longboat you can enjoy an Aussie inspired brunch, lunch or dinner while dogs get beds, special homemade biscuits and doggie Lamingtons. Where: Peggy Jean Green The Boat, Bridge Boat House, Riverside, Richmond TW9 1TH @daisygreencollection One place our noses always take us to is Gaucho , whose Richmond restaurant is dog friendly all day, every day. After getting your fill of delicious steak, the terrace there is the perfect spot for watching the sun set over the Thames with glass of red in your hand! Where: Gaucho The Towpath, Riverside, Richmond TW10 6UJ @gauchogroup If you're looking for a great boozer by the river, then look no further than The White Cross which has held its position by the Thames since 1780. The pub is large inside and on multiple levels, it had a fabulous terrace overlooking the river which has some cover. There are treats for pooches on the bar and water is provided. The human food is a step above pub grub, especially the seafood which was so exceptional we thought we were by the sea not the Thames! Where: The White Cross, Riverside House, Water Ln, Richmond TW9 1NR @thewhitecrosspub A ball's throw from Richmond Green you will find another great Young's pub, The Old Ship. The pub has a bar area and small rear garden on the ground floor then upstairs there is a restaurant and event space. The menu is full of great pub classics with some seasonal additions and pooches receive a warm welcome with treats on the bar for us. Where: The Old Ship, 3 King St, Richmond TW9 1ND @oldshiprichmond Our favourite dog friendly bakery Ole & Steen can be found in Richmond too. Their cinnamon social is a must try for everyone and they love to feature their four legged visitors on their Instagram feed so make sure you're ready to pose! Where: Ole & Steen, 59 George St, London TW9 1HE @oleandsteenuk After a run on the green, head down past the Richmond Theatre towards Kew and you will discover The Shaftesbury . The pub has had a recent refurb and is plenty spacious inside with a small but adequate garden at the rear. Pooches will discover their own doggy corner with bowls and treats. Where: The Shaftesbury, 121-123 Kew Rd, Richmond TW9 2PN @shaftesbury.pub When you've finished exploring the river and the green, head up the hill and stop off at The Marlborough . From the front the pub looks small but, as all small dogs will tell you, looks can be deceiving. Once inside, the pub opens up into a large space and at the rear is a huge garden. Humans can expect food that is typical to most Young's pubs and doggies have their own self-service station for water and treats. Where: The Marlborough, 46 Friars Stile Rd, Richmond TW10 6NQ @marlboroughrichmond If you fancy exploring Richmond park then you will find The Lass O' Richmond Hill (affectionately known by locals as the Lass) a few yards from Richmond Gate. This is another pub that appears unassuming from the front but is bigger than it looks and has a lovely terrace at the back. The Lass also has a rare London pub feature - a car park!! Where: The Lass, Surrey, 8 Queen's Rd, Richmond TW10 6JJ @lassorichmondhill It always gives us great joy when we discover a hidden gem and The Mitre is one of those. This back street boozer between Richmond and Sheen has a cosy welcome for everyone and is just what most people are looking for in a local pub. Resident cocker spaniel Rudi is always there to greet everyone with a wagging tail and the menu named in his honour offers the humans authentic stone baked pizza to rival any you will have in Naples! Where: The Mitre, 20 St Mary's Grove, Richmond TW9 1UY @themitretw9 If you need to stock up on any supplies while you're in Kingston, pop into StarBarks. This super dog friendly cafe, shop and groomers is situated between Kingston and Richmond so perfect if you are visiting either and it's a short walk from Richmond Park. The shop is well stocked with everything for pooches and the cafe does great coffee and snacks for humans. Dogs get spoilt with pupcakes, pup cups, ice cream and oodles of treats. StarBarks 432 Richmond Road KT2 5PU It's worth exploring the town itself, if you are there on a Saturday stop off at the Duck Pond Market to see some lovely little businesses selling their wares. Richmond has lots of interesting little alleyways, which are worth exploring. Most of these lead onto Richmond Green which is a great place for a picnic or to just sit and relax for a while.

- Gouqi London
Dog friendly Chinese fine dining in London If you want to experience Chinese cuisine at its very finest, then Gouqi is the place for you and your furry friend can come too! The restaurant in London's Trafalgar Square is extremely stylish as is the food but no style over substance here. Every dish tastes as good as it looks. The menu takes you on a culinary journey through China as the dishes are created using techniques and ingredients from across the country. We chose two of the 3 course set menus as we wanted to try as much as possible - even some things we had never had before such as Claypot rice. We highly recommend the BBQ lunch menu where you get 3 kinds of barbecue roast all of which you can watch the chefs carving in the restaurant. You might have to save a bit for your dog as simply smelling it would be torture! - Paw Prints & Co
Handcrafted accessories for dogs and their humans https://www.instagram.com/benny__beaglier/ I first started seeing PawPrints and Co popping up on Instagram as I was expanding my Benny wardrobe and by that I mean my wardrobe with all things Benny on them! I am well and truly in my dog mum era and it just so happens that it's also my height of fashion era too! I mean, who wouldn't want their adorable dog's face on every item of clothing they own? Charlotte had so many great designs on her website. The minute I saw the Autumn designs, I was hooked. I knew I had to get the coffee shop and pumpkin design for cosy Autumn evenings and then I had to get a T -shirt for summer, then obviously Christmas designs came in so that was a must! You can see that it was a slippery slope but one that I was very much gliding down with a giant 'wheeee!!!!' The Valentine's range is currently out and it's also adorable. The bold pink design I have, I am obsessed with. https://www.instagram.com/benny__beaglier/ If you're feeling extra creative, Charlotte can make any design that you come up with. I recently got one (pictured on a jade green jumper) and it is literally my favourite thing in the world. It's everything me and Benny love on a soft, cosy jumper. https://www.instagram.com/benny__beaglier/ BUT, PawPrints and Co aren't just for us humans... obviously, Charlotte has a range of harnesses, collars and leads, as well as a multitude of tag designs that are beautiful. In addition to lots of other products to help make being a dog parent that much more stylish and practical. We were super excited to be seasonal reps last year but have since stayed on. It's a wonderful community to be a part of and I highly recommend you give the website a visit today. https://www.instagram.com/benny__beaglier/ Use code BENNY10 to save!
