- Dog Friendly Stratford upon Avon
Bards, Boats and Big Wheels with The Four Legged Foodies spending 24 hours in Stratford upon Avon We are cultured pooches so when the humans suggested a visit to the home of Shakespeare, we donned our ruffs and picked up our quills so we could tell you all about the great dog friendly places we found in Stratford upon Avon. The Arden Hotel We started off by checking into our hotel The Arden , where we were greeted by super friendly staff who showed us around the hotel and then to our room. The Arden Hotel The room had everything we needed including a bed each, a toy each and some treats to share (only if Nacho behaves). There was also a mini fridge for us to keep our Different Dog food in. The humans were starving so lucky then that The Arden is centrally located and we only had a short walk to Yorks Cafe. Yorks Cafe The cafe is small inside so we recommend our bigger friends sit at one of the outside tables which are covered by an awning. The staff here love dogs and the manager showed us a photo of his new puppy. Yorks cafe has a great brunch style menu all day and dozens of tempting cakes. Once the humans had filled their bellies, we headed down to the river to explore. The riverside Stratford upon Avon You can walk on the riverside in both directions from the town centre and there is also a cute foot ferry to take you over to other side if your little legs can’t make it to the next bridge. The Big Wheel On the riverside we spotted The Big Wheel and thought it would be a great way to see the town from above. The view from The Big Wheel Once we persuaded male human (he’s afraid of heights) we hopped on for our 10 minute ride and enjoyed the views! Male human mostly looked at the floor. *The Big Wheel costs £8 per adult and £1 per dog. Small/medium dogs only and on leads at all times. Gardens at Arden Hotel Back on terra firma, we walked along the river back to the hotel so the humans could have a cheeky cocktail before dinner. Dogs are welcome everywhere in The Arden including the No.44 Brasserie. They will normally try and put doggies on the tables nearest the door. In finer weather there is also a lovely outdoor terrace you can dine on and pretty gardens to explore. No.44 Brasserie at Arden Hotel The human food is excellent in the No.44 Brasserie. Ours went for their favourite thing of sharing a few small plates and every morsel was devoured in a flash! And they have the nerve to tell us off for eating too quickly. Breakfast at Arden Hotel Breakfast the following morning is also served in the restaurant with a choice of continental and hot dishes. We got our obligatory sausage and an added extra of black pudding which we walked off back down to the river, passing through a great market which is there every Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays, on our way to Avon Boating. Avon Boating Avon Boating have a few options for those who want to explore the river and dogs are welcome on all except the canoes. Avon Boating We went for a self-drive electric boat and enjoyed a peaceful cruise down the river for 30 minutes. We even got to see some adorable baby geeses! Prices and times depend on which boat you hire. Visit their website for more details. Frozzy's The sun came out whilst we were boating so afterwards we picked up a Frozzy’s from Hoorays Gelato and sat by the river to enjoy it. After a wander through town to see some old cobbled streets and pose with Will, we headed back to the hotel. It had been a few hours since breakfast by then so obviously the humans were starving again. Afternoon Tea at Arden Hotel The Arden serve a fabulous afternoon tea in the restaurant every afternoon (except Mondays) from 1pm to 3pm. The tea has a delicious selection of finger sarnies, scones and perfectly created little cakes all for £30 each. Now we just need to persuade them to offer a doggie version from our friends at Talula Eats. Sniff & Bark We highly recommend a visit to Stratford upon Avon for all our four legged friends as there is so much to sniff and bark about and so many dog friendly places to try. - Patara London
Dog friendly Thai Cuisine If you’ve ever craved a steaming bowl of rich, flavourful beef noodles in London, you’ll know the struggle is real. There are good places here and there, but finding one that truly hits the spot — comforting broth, tender meat, and that perfect noodle texture — feels like discovering treasure. Recently, we visited a Thai restaurant in Wimbledon that just launched their Boat Noodles , and honestly, I wasn’t ready for how good it would be. Customisable Bowls: Choose Your Noodles & Toppings What I love most is how customisable everything is. You get to choose your noodles, toppings, and add-ons — almost like a premium, elevated version of traditional Hong Kong cart noodles. For my bowl, I picked thin-sliced beef and scallops . The staff torched the scallops right in front of us, giving them that lightly smoky flavour that instantly lifts the whole dish. The Broth: Rich, Deep, and Comforting The broth is where this bowl truly shines. It’s made by simmering beef bones for hours until the flavours become deep, rich, and satisfying. Every spoonful felt like proper comfort food — warm, soulful, and packed with flavour. The thin-sliced beef was perfectly tender, and the ingredients overall felt thoughtfully prepared, with nothing skimped or rushed. My Noodle Choice: Thai Thin Rice Noodles I went for the Thai thin rice noodles (my favourite!), which had the ideal chewy texture. It soaked up the broth beautifully without turning mushy — the dream combination for noodle lovers. Henry’s Bowl: The Showstopper Henry ordered the beef ribs , and let me tell you… That bowl was massive . The ribs were so tender that the meat literally fell off the bone with one gentle pull. Soft, flavourful, and perfectly cooked — it was the highlight of the whole meal. Don’t Skip the Skewers We also tried the pork and beef meatball skewers , which were juicy, savoury, and so satisfying. They can be eaten on their own or added into your noodles as toppings — either way, they’re a must-order. Thai Milk Tea to Finish To complete the meal, we ordered two Thai milk teas — one with grass jelly and one with matcha. Sweetness was just right, creamy but not heavy, and the perfect treat after such a comforting bowl. A Lovely Meal With Coco Of course, Coco joined us and was an absolute angel the whole time. She sat quietly, observed everything with her curious eyes, and melted some hearts as usual. Always a joy having her with us on our food adventures! Final Thoughts Finding a genuinely good bowl of noodles in London always makes my day, and this one definitely goes on my recommended list. From the broth to the toppings to the drinks — everything felt well-crafted with care. - Nilaqua
Waterless Dog Grooming When Nilaqua Pets reached out for Benny to try their no water shampoo, I didn't think twice about it. The concept made me very excited - rub the liquid all over your dog like you would regular shampoo, but then instead of needing to rinse it off with water, you simply towel it off! Amazing. It's absolutely perfect for Benny, who I literally have to trick into getting into the bath, by pretending to pick him up to show him something outside and even that isn't fool proof because if he clocks me getting towels or anything prepared, there is no chance he'll let me pick him up!! Why are they so smart!? This shampoo smells amazing and is so easy to use. It gets rid of dirt too unlike some leave in shampoos or foam based products. Nilaqua also have a range of cologne, household and pet care products as well as shampoo for different occasions. Their company and products are eco-friendly. They use recycled plastic for their bottles and 100% renewable energy to power manufacturing. I highly recommend checking then out and if you do, you can use the code BENNY15 for a 15% discount. - Dog Friendly Covent Garden
It's not just for Christmas https://www.instagram.com/the4leggedfoodies/ One of London's hottest spots for tourists at Christmas is also full of fabulous options for pooch friendly dining. Covent Garden always comes up trumps every year when it comes to super Instagrammable festive set ups but all that posing really works up an appetite, so here's 10 spots where you can dine with your dog. https://www.instagram.com/the4leggedfoodies/ Fans of churros (yes that includes us) you will love Aguamiel Staff here are super friendly and adore four-legged guests - they even get a pup cup to enjoy while you fill your face. Aguamiel 24 Wellington St, London WC2E 7DD https://www.instagram.com/the4leggedfoodies/ Right in the heart of Covent Garden Market, you will find Nana . This Meditarranean cafe has outside space only, so here all guests, no matter how many legs, are treated equally. Don't worry if you have no fur, there are plenty of blankets and heaters. Nana Cafe 27B, MARKET BUILDING, London WC2E 8RB https://www.instagram.com/the4leggedfoodies/ Also in the market building, you will find Hawaiin street food courtesy of El Ta'koy. If you are looking for an unusual cuisine to try, this is for you. Fresh, colourful, delicious! And don't get us started on the Tiki cocktails. Dogs are welcome inside but the terrace is lovely too. El-Takoy 3 Henrietta St, London WC2E 8LU https://www.instagram.com/the4leggedfoodies/ Also at 3 Henrietta Street, you will find Doughnation Pizza . WARNING the pizzas and drinks here are mighty so if you're not a hungry Norfolk Terrier, you might want to share. They are insanely good though. Doughnation Pizza 3 Henrietta St, London WC2E 8LU https://www.instagram.com/the4leggedfoodies/ Floozie Cookies are situated within the market and it's another place that always has treats for pooches too. When it comes to treats for humans, they are spoilt for choice here. We do highly recommend the Christmas Cookie Box though. 15, The Market Building, Lower Ground, London WC2E 8RE https://www.instagram.com/the4leggedfoodies/ We have a saying in our house, it's never too cold for ice cream. So even in December, you should try the best gelato in London at Badiani. You will find Badiani all over London but the one in Covent Garden is our favourite as it's in a super pretty location. Dogs are welcome inside and they have special dog ice cream at regular intervals throughout the year. Badiani 2 Mercer Walk, London WC2H 9QP https://www.instagram.com/the4leggedfoodies/ If your humans prefer something more warming, then THE BEST hot chocolate is also in Covent Garden at Knoops . We know chocolate and dogs don't go together but a warm cup of deliciousness with your pooch by your side is a match made in heaven on a wintry day. Knoops 2 New Row, London WC2N 4LH https://www.instagram.com/the4leggedfoodies/ The Yards area of Covent Garden is one of our favourite destinations to get in the festive mood and here you will find the fabulous Brother Marcus. At this and 6 other London locations, you will find Mediterranean feasting at its very finest and dogs are treated like part of the family. Brother Marcus 23 Slingsby Pl, London WC2E 9AB https://www.instagram.com/the4leggedfoodies/ As you can see from Nacho's face, our friends at Bill's always have something tasty for their four-legged customers. You will find Bill's all over London but the best one at this time of year is in The Yards. - Teo Hot Pot
Dog Friendly Chinese Restaurant in London Teo Hot Pot is a cosy, welcoming Chinese restaurant on the fabulous Store Street (off Tottenham Court Road) serving beef hot pot and Teo Chew street food. Diners choose their broth base and then a selection of beef cuts to cook in the broth. We are proud of our food because the ingredients are good, as simple as that. We locally sourced British grass-fed beef, traditional reared cattle, the best of all, we believe. Vegetables, noodles and mushrooms can also be cooked in the broth and you make your own flavourings to add at the condiment station. It can get messy so everyone is given an apron to protect their fur (and clothes). It's not simply dining but a whole experience and well worth a visit with your pooch. - Waita Pets Advent Calendar
24 days of amazing treats Benny has been a huge fan of Waita Pets treats for a long time now. We've been fortunate enough to have received gifted products twice and I also stocked up at DogFest. Each time he's received them he's been over the moon. I love the fact that they are freeze dried treats so you know they have locked in goodness. Plus, most of their treats are one source of protein or a combination of two, which is also a huge win in my book. I love giving Benny healthy options for his treats since he eats A LOT of them!!! So, when we were very kindly gifted their Advent calendar, I don't know who was more excited, me or Benny!! I adore spoiling him and seeing him happy and he adores eating so it's safe to say we were both ecstatic! When I say I'm impressed with this calendar, I mean I'm impressed with this calendar. There are twenty-four doors, with a special lollipop for Christmas eve. Behind each door is a sealed bag with a few of their best treats, as well as, some limited edition ones for Christmas. Treats like beef cubes, salmon cubes, egg yolk cubes - Benny is obsessed with these. Then goodies like Christmas trees and pink leaf designs especially for the holidays. It truly is amazing! I cannot wait for him to dive in come December... though he may already have eaten a few doors!! Order your advent calendar here

- Dog Friendly Hotels in Bath
48 hours in Bath with The Four Legged Foodies For our first night, we checked into The Bird which is a wonderfully dog friendly hotel just a short stroll from the city centre. The hotel has a free car park where you will also find a dog toilet area by way of a small patch of astroturf. The Bird is beautiful designed - although we had a slight issue with a cat taking pride of place on the wall - and has some nice touches like free soft drinks and jars of sweets to help yourself to. The rooms are up some stairs (no lift) which are quite steep but when we got there we had a cosy, clean bedroom with a wonderful view of the city. We had beds and bowls waiting for us in the room. Dogs are most welcome everywhere at The Bird including in the bar and restaurant which is in the basement. Our humans were delighted to see they had an extensive cocktail list. The humans were also delighted by the food. The menu is a sharing one, where you choose a mixture of small and large plates and sides to share. Our humans being greedy decided to try most of the items on the menu and they loved every morsel. *It is worth visiting The Bird for the restaurant alone. With full bellies, we all retired to the room where I decided to sleep on the sofa rather than my dog bed! The following morning we returned to the restaurant for breakfast where we were immediately offered our own sausage which had been pre-cooked so we didn't even have to wait for it to cool down! The humans filled up their bellies with breakfast before setting for another day exploring the city. Book your stay at The Bird Bath here. Our second night was spent at The Francis Hotel which is right in the heart of the city, on Queen Square which was a perfect place for us to use as a toilet. The hotel is large and very popular, so expect it to be busy at all times. We had a spacious room on the first floor (there is a lift). Where we had beds and bowls waiting for us and the humans had some welcome chocolates. Pooches are welcome to dine in the lounge or bar area, both of which are spacious however the tables in the lounge are low. Archie found an appropriate seat for doggie royalty. The humans enjoyed some great food for dinner and the bar also has a cocktail menu which always pleases them. Book your stay at The Francis Hotel here.
