  • Snooboos - The Sweet Smell of Success

When Four Legged Foodies go to smart pubs and posh restaurants they don't want to embarrass the humans with our special smell. So before we go dining out, we always make sure we smell sweet thanks to Snooboos and now you can too because they will be coming to Four Legged Foodie Fest. Our skin is more sensitive than the humans so if you need regular baths before and after your adventures, then you need a shampoo that is natural and contains no nasty parabens and artificial perfumes. They have: No Palm Oil No SLS or Parabins No Perfume No Testing on Animals See Snooboos in our Accessories Zone at Four Legged Foodies Fest on September 19th.

Can life get better than this? When you arrive at your table and it's filled with treats waiting for you and your pooch, you know you are living your best one! This is what greeted us when we visited Chestnut Bakery in Belgravia! Nacho couldn't wait to see what was inside his box and he wasn't disappointed when he discovered a selection of beautiful pupcakes and cookies all baked especially for him. There was even a bag of treats for Archie who couldn't join us on the day! Humans will not be disappointed either as Chestnut Bakery has a selection of some of the most beautiful cakes and pastries we have ever seen. And it certainly isn't style over substance, they taste just as gorgeous as they look! But it's not just the sweet-toothed who will be spoilt for choice here. Chestnut Bakery is open every day, baking breads from all around the world including sourdough, bagels and Challah rolls. In the cafe, you can enjoy a wide variety of flatbreads all baked in the authentic clay oven as well as a variety of sandwiches and other dishes such as baked aubergine and plancha grilled avocado. @cedric.the.pomeranian Chestnut Bakery have taken over the site in Belgravia which was previously Dominique Ansell and have kept the bright, airy feel but put their own design stamp on it. • Megan's Restaurants

If you live in London and haven't yet been to a Megan's Restaurant then you really don't know what you're missing! This independent restaurant chain has 8 locations across London and has recently opened in St.Albans. The London locations are Islington (pictured above), Battersea, Balham, Clapham, Fulham, Parsons Green, Kensington and Wimbledon. All their restaurants have beautiful interiors invoking the feel of dining on a candlelit courtyard somewhere on the Mediterranean. Islington, Wimbledon, Fulham and Battersea also have outdoor seating. In keeping with the Mediterranean theme, the menu is packed with what they perfectly describe as 'food from sunny places'. All locations serve delicious food all day starting with dishes such as eggs benedict or a Turkish feast for brunch (bottomless available at weekends) and ending with mezzes, grills and posh kebabs for dinner. We have had the pleasure of sampling most of the dishes over the last few years and every one of them has been a winner! You can also get a selection of their menu to takeaway by click+collect or on Deliveroo. Visit their website for details. Now for the most important reason to visit - they are THE most dog friendly restaurant chain in London if not the country (as you can see from my visit with my pals in February). Not only do they have water bowls in abundance and a constant supply of treats courtesy of Pooch and Mutt for us but they also have stylish beds for us to relax in while the humans enjoy their food. Dogs of all sizes will receive the warmest of welcomes in all Megan's Restaurants. So now you see what you've been missing, grab your lead and escort your humans to your nearest Megan's NOW! Maybe you'll see me there. Download our app to find more great dog friendly places like Megan's.

  • Give us a Pizza That!

If delicious wood-fired pizza, cocktails and a 360 view of London with your dogs is your idea of a perfect day then Bussey Rooftop Bar is the place for you! You can definitely count us in too! Take the Overground to Peckham Rye and within a 5 minute walk from the station you will find Bussey Alley, slotted between the local shops and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Rye Lane. Copeland Park is an old industrial estate in Peckham which has been turned over to a number of small, independent businesses, artists and restaurants, creating a really great spot to explore with your dogs. Sitting atop the Bussey Building (which was once a cricket bat factory) you will find the Bussey Rooftop Bar. The space is completely covered which was very much appreciated as we went on a particularly rainy July day! It is decked out in a style that fits the building, with an open kitchen, bar and high tables with stools to allow you to enjoy the view. And what a view it is! The position of the building means you get a 360-degree view of London! We spent much of our visit pointing out all the top landmarks (a great way to entertain your non London friends when they visit). Unfortunately, the rain made it misty so we couldn't get great photos of the view. You will just have to go and see for yourself! When we weren't behaving like tourists, we spent the rest of our visit enjoying fabulous cocktails (other beverages are available) and some of the best pizza we ever had! The pizzas by Share a Slice are all made fresh to order and cooked in the wood fired oven to give that authentic taste. The menu includes a vegan option. When it comes to our Four Legged friends, they are very welcome at Bussey Rooftop Bar. Archie and Nacho received a lot of attention from the staff and they were brought water and a blanket to sit on. To get that view you need to be high up so there are a lot of stairs to climb but as long as your dog (and you) are up for the challenge, you will have a great time once you reach the top. They have regular comedy nights which doggies can come along to - Archie was hoping for an open mic night to practice some of his routines! And on the other half of the rooftop you will find the Rooftop Film Club * where pooch can join you to watch a movie! Keep an eye out for our upcoming blog on what to expect when taking your dog to an open air cinema! *this part of the roof is not covered. We highly recommend a visit to Copeland Park and Bussey Rooftop Bar and we would love to see your photos if you go so please tag us on Instagram @the4leggedfoodies Hopefully you will get some better shots of that view! Follow @busseyrooftopbar for more images.

  • Brewbix - Making it Easy to be Good

If you are a believer in waste not, want not then you will love the concept behind Brewbix as they make treats from craft brewery leftovers! During the brewing process grain and yeast is spent and this would usually be discarded but Brewbix use it to hand bake tasty, healthy treats for good doggies. (That's all of us by the way). The biscuits also contain leftover brewers yeast which is great for a healthy skin and coat. Brewbix biscuits are made from the grain used by South East London craft brewery Villages and each pack states which beer was used so you can match the beer to the biscuits and anjoy along woth your dog! If you are looking for a tasty treat whilst also doing your bit for the planet, visit them on Treat Street at the Four Legged Foodie Fest. They will also be bringing Villages beer for the humans to take home. Brewbix side-kick Broo will be making a guest appearance too. We want to see your dogs in a photo with him.

  • For The Love of Bonner - Playing with your Food

We humans are taught never to play with our food but luckily dogs are positively encouraged to do it. As long as that food is a toy! For The Love of Bonner will be bringing their range of fun, food-themed toys for all Four Legged Foodies to enjoy at the Festival. Whatever your taste, there's something for everyone from Burgers to Croissants and even bottles of bubbly. Sarah will also be bringing along a selection of treats including Beautiful Joes, Thrive and Green & Wilds and of course, her signature hampers for those who want some of everything. We have jointly created a bespoke Foodie Fest Hamper for the event which can be yours when you buy a Hamper ticket. The hamper contains 2 foodie toys, a Slurps drink and Thrive treats. Everything you need to sit and chill out in our Hyde Bark Corner tent while your humans enjoy their own food. With our Hamper Ticket you get all that, entry to the Fest and a goody bag for £30.
